Establishment:
AT-TALQEEN School was founded on January 1, 2023, in the Barunde West area, near Doctor’s Street. At the time of its establishment, the school operated from a rented facility, as it did not yet have a permanent site.

A Blessed Turning Point

After one year and one term of operation, Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) blessed the school through one of His devoted servants, Alhaji Ahmadu Ghuburo. Shortly after enrolling his children in the school, he extended an extraordinary act of generosity that will never be forgotten.

He took the school founder, together with his friends Alhaji Adamu Kolejo and Alhaji Shu’aibu Mai Littafi, to a fully completed house consisting of four rooms. There, he announced that he was donating the house for the sake of Allah (Fi Sabilillah) to be used as a permanent site for the school — a gesture that marked a major milestone in the history of AT-TALQEEN.

This selfless act brought great joy and gratitude to everyone involved, and Alhaji Ahmadu Ghuburo further presented all the official documents of ownership to the school.

Relocation and Expansion

On April 20, 2024, the school officially moved to its new permanent site. On the same day, the DAYLIGHTS Section was inaugurated, and shortly afterward, the BOARDING Section was opened — marking a new era of growth and development for AT-TALQEEN School.

The history of AT-TALQEEN School would be incomplete without recognizing Ibrahim Alhaji Musa, Director of the company “Dinawammu,” whose support and contribution have been invaluable.

AT-TALQEEN School was established upon the understanding and methodology of the Salafiyyah, with the goal of providing sound Islamic and academic education that nurtures faith, discipline, and knowledge.

Our vision is to produce students who embody Islamic values, seek beneficial knowledge, and practice it sincerely for the sake of Allah — contributing positively to their communities and the Ummah at large.
